Mili

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Mili is an app for managing subscriptions and keeping a ledger. We don’t collect your personal data.

What we don’t collect

  • Mili has no accounts. You never need to sign up or sign in.
  • There are no ads and no third-party statistics, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs, and Mili doesn’t track you across apps.
  • The developer can’t see your subscriptions, ledger entries, income, or any of your settings.

Where your data is stored

  • All of your data is stored on your device.
  • If you subscribe to Mili Pro and turn on iCloud Sync, your data is stored in your own private iCloud database through Apple’s CloudKit. Only your Apple Account can access it, and the developer can’t read it.

Network requests Mili makes

  • Service icons: To show icons for your subscription services, Mili visits each service’s website to read its site icon and requests the following public icon services: DuckDuckGo (icons.duckduckgo.com), Google (www.google.com/s2/favicons), and favicon.im. These requests contain only the service’s domain (for example, netflix.com) and no personal information, but these services can tell from them which services you’ve added. You can turn off Fetch Logos Automatically in Mili’s Settings.
  • Exchange rates: To convert foreign currencies, Mili downloads exchange rate tables from public APIs (open.er-api.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net, currency-api.pages.dev). These requests contain no personal information.
  • iCloud: Mili communicates with Apple’s CloudKit only when you subscribe to Mili Pro and turn on sync.

Purchases

  • Mili Pro is purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase, and your payment information is handled by Apple. Mili uses StoreKit only to find out whether your subscription is active, in order to unlock features.

Notifications

  • Charge reminders are local notifications created on your device. They never pass through any server.

Deleting your data

  • In Mili, you can delete individual subscriptions and ledger entries, or remove all subscriptions at once with Clear All Subscriptions.
  • Data in iCloud: On your Mac, open System Settings, click your name, then click iCloud > Manage > Mili. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap iCloud > Manage Storage > Mili.
  • On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app also deletes its local data. On a Mac, local data is stored in the ~/Library/Containers/com.mili.subscriptions folder; deleting that folder removes it.

Children

  • Mili is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

  • If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and revise the effective date.
